Snowmobiler Injured In Collision

West Perth | by Peter Jackson
A London man has been charged, after the operator showed signs of impairment

Perth OPP and area snowmobile clubs remind operators that impaired operation of a snowmobile will not be tolerated, after an arrest on the weekend.

Police say they investigated a collision involving a snowmobile and a vehicle on Line 19 southwest of Mitchell Sunday night, and found that the operator of the sled had been drinking.

A 27 year-old London man is charged with being over the legal blood-alcohol level, and his licence is suspended.

The operator of the machine suffered non life-threatening injuries.
