OPP Warn Of Trespassers, After Arrest In Perth County

Police say resident noticed trespasser on neighbour's property, likely prevented crime.

A recent arrest in Perth East is leading OPP to advise rural property owners to be watchful, and to maintain close contact with neighbours.

Police arrested a man in the early hours of last Wednesday, after a neighbour tipped them off about a suspicious person on a rural properly.

Now, a 34 year-old Woolwich Township man awaits a future Court appearance on charges including Trespass by Night and Personation.

OPP urge rural property owners to look out for one another, and call police whenever they see a suspicious person or vehicle in the interest of preventing possible criminal activity.
