A provincial grant will help "The Pigeon King" fly back to the Blyth Festival Theatre stage.
Theatre officials announced a $60 thousand grant through Celebrate Ontario 2018, which invests in heritage and culture throughout the province.
The Pigeon King -- a story of a salesman who conned numerous farmers into investing in his famed racing pigeons -- ran through 2017, and will return to the North Huron stage this May.
19 performances are slated in the production's second run.
Celebrate Ontario is supporting 328 festivals and events this year, including the 2018 Stratford Festival, the Kincardine Scottish Festival, the Lighthouse Blues Festival in Kincardine, Lucan Baconfest, Sarnia Bluewater Borderfest Music And Entertainment Festival, Goderich's Rural Roots: Concerts In The County, and Huron Country Playhouse Live Theatre Season Extension in Grand Bend.
